Creating
any of these Clip-on hair pieces is very easy and they
only require a few basic supplies like hair, thread,
and various foundation materials to make them.
The hair,
(synthetic, Asian, and (European) Italian hair) and
most other supplies for creating these hair pieces are
available online from MHRW INTERNATIONAL.

Clip-on
Braids can be created with long Weft hair or short Weft
hair, thick hair or thin Weft hair, straight hair or
wavy Weft hair, curly hair or kinky Weft hair ...the
choice is yours.

How To Create This Hair Piece
|
EZ Braid
hair pieces are created in the following steps.
The foundation
for this hair piece is created using Flat Monofilament
Material. To add strength to the foundation two or
more pieces of Monofilament should be sewn together.
Just "7" short Weft Strips must be sewn to the
foundation to create this hair pice.
Creating
The Foundation
The foundation
is made using one or more 2" x 2" pieces of
Flat Monofilament Foundation Material.

Designing the Foundation
|
|
Using flat Monofilament foundation material:
-
Create 2 or more pieces of Monofilament
material measuring
2" x 2"
in size each.
-
Pin pieces of material together edge-to-edge.
-
Sew pieces together along outside edge
as shown in illustration.

Trimming Foundation
|
You have two (2) options for trimming the
foundation edge.
Option 1. You can use a 1/2 inch Bias Tape
Trim Ribbon.
|

Instructions:
a. Fold and pin Trim Ribbon over edge of
foundation allowing 1/4 inch of Trim Ribbon
to overlap each side of the foundation.
b. Sew Trim Ribbon to wrap edge of foundation.

Option 2.
You can use MHRW to seal the foundation
edge.
Instructions:
a.
Simply brush MHRW EasyTAB Compound
to entire underside of foundation. (Allow
compound to dry completely before proceeding.)
|

Attaching Weft Strips to Foundation
|
Both sides of foundation are identical.
Attach Weft strips to either side when using
Trim Ribbon or to side containing MHRW EasyTAB
Compound. Weft strips when sewn in place
must extend from edge-to-edge of foundation.
The hair blender must be sewn to the underside
edge of the foundation.: |

Sew Weft strip No. 1 to Position
No. 1.
-
Attach Weft strips No's. 2, 3, 4,
5, and 6 to
Positions
2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.
-
Weft strip No. 7
is a hair blender:
-
Sew blender along top center, inside
edge of foundation.
-
Comb hair over top edge of foundation,
style with other hair.

Hair must flow in direction indicated by
arrows in illustration.
|
|
Applying Attachment Comb
|
To secure the attachment of this Hairpiece
a 1 inch attachment comb should be sewn
to the top center inside edge of foundation: |
-
Sew 1 attachment comb to the top center
(1/8" from top edge) underside edge
of foundation.
-
Position comb teeth in direction shown
in illustration.
Attachment combs
have holes in them for sewing to foundation.

Hairpiece Positioning & Attachment
|
|
For a quick and easy attachment :
-
Prepare your hair for attachment by
combing and pinning it into a tight
bun at the rear center of your head.
-
Slide Hairpiece in position as indicated
by arrows in illustration
-
Hook comb into hair at center rear crown
area of head.
Once Hairpiece
is in position :
-
Pin sides of Hairpiece in place with
bobby pins to complete and secure Hairpiece
attachment.

Finishing Touches
|
|
If desired you can style and wear this Hairpiece
as a braid or Ponytail;
To wear the E-Z Braid as a Ponytail :
-
Undo braided hair on Hairpiece then
style hair into a Ponytail.
-
To further conceal the top edge of the
Hairpiece you can attach a colorful
ribbon or bow to this area.
