searching is over.

or Women Lace Front Wigs (with monofilament lace front hairlines
with baby hair)... is also available from MHRW INTERNATIONAL.
In the past,
my search seamed unending too, especially during the years I
worked for a modeling agency. As a model I became accustomed
to wearing Lace Front Wigs because they allowed me to change
from ultra long hair to short cropped hairstyles when necessary.
Sometimes I wore inexpensive hair extensions, however, when it
came to wearing the more expensive quality Lace Front Wigs, it
became considerably more complicated and extensive.
Quality Lace
Front Wigs, like the ones Beyonce Knowles and Tyra Banks wear
can easily cost from $5,000.00 to $25,000.00 each and it usually
takes several months before you can receive delivery. The last
custom-made Lace Front Wig I purchased took over 4 months to
be delivered and the hair was so thick, it made me look ridiculous.
I was so disappointed and upset that I tried declining delivery.
However, they refused my request and told me there was nothing
wrong with the Wig and I either had to except delivery or lose
my deposit.
When I first
started wearing Lace Front Wigs, paying retail for them was my
only option. Now thanks to MHRW INTERNATIONAL and their Wig Making
Kits for creating custom Full-Size Lace Front Women's Wigs I
can make them myself. The first Lace Front Wig I made only took
me 2 week to create. I was quite AMAZED with my results... it
is easily worth $7,000 or more and the hair reaches down past
my belt line. Let me tell ya girls... there's just no way you
could get me sell my Lace Front Wig - I LOVE IT FAR TOO MUCH!
The hardest thing
I had to learn was the ventilating technique. Ventilating is
simply learning how to tie hair to lace front Monofilament Foundation
Material. Making the Lace Front Wig is easy. All you do is learn
how to ventilate hair to monofilament Lace Front Wig material;
and watch your favorite movies or programs on TV while you create
your Wig.
The Lace Front
Wigs I now make are much better than the retail Wigs I use to
purchased. What make them better is the invisible front hairline
that MHRW teaches to how to do so it becomes invisible. The front
hairline is so undetectable you can't tell you're wearing a Wig.
The secrete to
creating the invisible lace front appearance on a Lace Front
Wig is done using MHRW's EasyTAB Compound. It's a brush-on urethane
(liquid plastic), you simply brush it along the underside edge
of the front lace area and let it dry. It seals the hair to the
foundation and protects the hair from becoming damaged when cleaning
away tape or adhesive. When dry (front the hair side of the Wig)
it looks like the hair along the front of your Lace Front Wig
is growing from your own scalp.
I also wear hair
extensions because their are easy to make too: a. Using hair
Weft Strips; I simply measured the area I wanted them to fit.
b. Using clear plastic thread and a regular sewing needle; I
sewed several Wig Combs to the Weft Strips. b. Inserted them
into my own hair. It was very easy and fun for me to do; and
it will be just as easy and just as much fun for you to do too!
And, you'll save a lot of money too!!!
No need for me
to layer the hair after finishing making a Wig. While ventilating
I simply used longer hair at the middle section, and used hair
that's a little longer around the back and bottom sections for
instant layering... it's so easy anyone can do it!
I find that it
is a matter of personal preference regarding which Wig cap works
best for making my Lace Front Wigs. Most retail Wigs never fit
me very well because I have a difficult head size and a bit of
a widows peak that I like covering up with certain hairstyles.
I love wearing
a Lace Front Wig with an extended hairline that hides my own
front hairline. I simply create my desired front hairline by
ventilating a little additional baby hair along the front to
create the invisible hairline. Creating a new hairline is a plus,
because a new front hairline can be designed to allow me to use
either adhesive (glue) or toupee tape for bonding my Lace Front
Wig to my scalp without damaging my own hair.
I have a girl
friend who has a petite head size and cannot find Lace Front
Wigs that fit her well. Now that she makes her own Lace Front
Wigs, she simply resize the Wig cap to fit her head size perfectly
before creating her Wig. It's really great being able to make
custom Wigs that fit so well and they look so real too.
I like a little
baby hair along the front hairline of my Wigs too. I tie the
baby hair along the front area of my Wig, about a 1/4" to
1/2" past the regular hairline on the Wig. Tyra Banks uses
it to give her Wigs a softer more natural looking hairline and
you can too. If you look closely you would also see that Beyonce
wears Lace Front Wigs that have baby hair along the front hairline,
especially when with the up-do hairstyle.
One of the myths
about wearing a Lace Front Wig is that you should be bald or
balding. This is simply not true! I remember visiting my first
Wig Shoppe that specialized in Wigs for cancer patients and people
suffering with alopecia areata several years ago. When I entered
the store they looked at me kind of funny because I had a full
head of healthy hair. What I went there for was to find a Wig
so I could cover up my own hair, I just more hairstyle options
that what I could achieve with my own hair.
Making your own
black men's hairpieces or a women's Lace Front Wig enables anyone
to let their own hair grow out while recovering from chemotherapy
hair loss. Once your hair has grown back, you have the option
of wearing a hair replacement system, integration system to thicken
or lengthen your hair or to even change your hair color if desired.
I really like
blonde hair... at least for a while! But some times, I like switching
back to my own natural darker hair color too. Naturally, using
bleach to lighten hair color can damage your hair, therefore,
creating a Blonde Wig with lighter streaks or highlighting eliminates
damaging your own hair. Try it... You'll love it!
It's REALLY
GREAT being able to make my own custom Lace Front Wigs. And,
I know several black men who are now making their own custom
hairpieces too. You can easily save thousands of dollars
every time you make a new hairpiece or Wig!
