naturally black, course and straight, must be chemically processed
in order to achieve the appearance of natural unprocessed hair.

original color is removed using bleach; then the bleached hair
is dyed to obtain lighter colors ranging from dark brown to
blond; it is next permed to obtain a straight, wavy, or curly
texture; and finally it is stripped of its outer cuticle layer
